Many people had vomiting, loose bowels and fever after eating, and the patient detected Norwalk virus. Food poisoning caused by Norwalk virus has recently occurred in many places in Japan.

  The wedding was held on the 12th and 82 people attended. Seventeen of them developed various symptoms from 13th to 15th. Norwalk virus was detected in the feces of six guests and a hotel staff who hosted the wedding. On the wedding day, the hotel involved served dishes such as meat, fish and salad. Hiroshima City Health Center decided on the 18th to ban the hotels involved.

  A restaurant in Niigata, Japan, was also exposed to food poisoning on the 16th. Eighty-six people developed gastroenteritis symptoms after eating the lunches sold in the store, and 33 of them were hospitalized. Norwalk virus was also detected in the feces of 18 people. In addition, food poisoning has recently occurred in the northern part of Miyazaki Prefecture. In 2022, there were 105 food poisoning patients caused by Norwalk virus in the county, and in the past three months this year, the number of patients increased to 110.
