As a key element of Scrambler’s personality, Desmodue engine has also been improved in aesthetics. The new crankcase cover has added the "X" element and logo, which improves the overall recognition, and the shape of the belt cover is more distinctive than the previous generation. The exhaust pipe has also been completely redesigned, and the lines are more beautiful, and the corner of the first section also perfectly presents the shape of the engine.

In addition to a new frame with a central shock absorber and a new aluminum alloy rear rocker arm, the handlebar has also changed. It is lower and closer to the rider, which makes the control of the car more calm and flexible. At the same time, the steering angle has been increased, and the handling flexibility and ease of use of the new car have been improved, whether it is intense driving or daily commuting.

Desmodue engine has always been the iconic feature of Ducati Scrambler. After modern innovation, it can provide 73 horsepower output, and its weight is about 2.5kg lighter than that of the previous generation. It is also equipped with a new 8-plate clutch, which makes the grip more soft and linear. The structure of the clutch is also more compact, which makes its cover smaller, thus providing more space for the rider’s feet. The second-generation self-propelled Scrambler is also equipped with a shift drum mounted on the bearing, which makes the shift smoother and more accurate.

An important innovation of the second-generation self-propelled Scrambler is the introduction of the ride-by-wire system, which makes the throttle response more dynamic and improves the smooth output and controllability at all speeds. In addition, there are two riding modes: highway and wetland. The latter is specially designed for wet roads, which can provide smoother throttle response and traction control that pays more attention to stability and safety. Thanks to the ride-by-wire system, the new generation Desmodue engine can also choose to install a two-way electronic quick-release system, which is standard on Full Throttle and optional on Icon and Nightshift.

The new fuel tank is an element that constitutes the customization concept of the second generation self-propelled ScrambleIcon. The color element is actually a replaceable cover, just like the fender, the label on the wheel hub and the big lampshade can be replaced. This makes the appearance of the second-generation self-propelled Scrambler Icon cater to all tastes, and it is very convenient and quick to replace.

The second-generation self-driving Scrambler Icon is characterized by being lower and closer to the handlebar of the rider, which can better control the vehicle. The seat has been redesigned with a different and more streamlined shape. In addition, there is a black plaque under the seat, and the pattern on it makes the design more complete.

  Ducati brand-new second-generation self-driving Scrambler Full Throttle

The second-generation self-driving Scrambler Full Throttle is the most sporty version, inspired by the dirt track race in the United States. The number plate on the side is printed with the number 62— — 1962 was the launch year of the first Ducati self-driving Scrambler — — The perfect racing style, together with the anti-skid board, defines an eye-catching and coarse aesthetic feeling for those who are flamboyant.

The sports appearance of the seat cover, GP19 red/dark invisible special painting, and the black surface treatment of the exhaust pipe heat shield and front side cover all highlight the sports characteristics of this model. In order to make the style more uniform, a unique design including the oil pan guard, a short front fender and an exposed tail is added. In addition, the Rosso GP19 seat cover can also be used as an accessory, giving the whole vehicle a dynamic single-seat appearance. Thanks to the variable cross-section handlebar compared with the Icon version, the riding posture of the second generation self-propelled Scrambler Full Throttle has also become more sporty.

Elegant Nebula Blue flashes alternately between smooth and satin, and with exquisite dark leather seats, it complements the rear without mudguards. Like the previous version of Nightshift, the new car has a flat variable cross-section handlebar and handlebar rearview mirror, which is also a classic Cafe Racer style.
