"Small advertisements lead to a gambling gang" and arrested 20 suspects on the spot.

Beijing, Oct. 10 (Reporter Zhang lei) Living in the city, "receiving medicine", "applying for a certificate" and "unlocking", these "urban psoriasis" not only affect people’s mood but also affect the beauty of the city, and some of them have even been suspected of committing crimes. Recently, the Public Security Management Corps of Beijing Public Security Bureau and the Municipal Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau jointly acted to destroy a gang suspected of teaching gambling tricks and arrested 20 suspects on the spot.
On September 21, the Public Security Management Corps of the Municipal Public Security Bureau received a notice from the Municipal Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau that its law enforcement officers found small advertising clues suspected of illegal crimes during the inspection. After receiving this situation, the Public Security Corps immediately started the law enforcement cooperation mechanism, communicated with the Municipal Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau, obtained more clues, and carried out serial and parallel analysis and follow-up verification of relevant illegal and criminal clues. At the same time, it organized forces with the Municipal Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau to establish a joint task force and began to investigate and deal with it.
Through the serial and parallel verification of clues, it is found that since September this year, urban management law enforcement officers have successively found more than 170 illegal small advertisements suspected of illegal content, including more than 150 small advertisements involving gambling, in eye-catching locations such as viaducts and overpasses on the main and auxiliary roads of the ring roads in six urban areas, including Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian and Fengtai. After further work by the police of the task force, it was found that many telephone numbers involved in these gambling advertisements all pointed to the same gang. The police of the task force followed the clues and finally determined that the gang was in four dens in Xicheng and Fengtai.
After careful investigation in the early stage, a few days ago, the Public Security Corps and the relevant sub-bureaus simultaneously launched a network-closing operation on four dens, and arrested 20 people, including Yan Mou, Ying Mou and Wang Mou, who were suspected of teaching gambling tricks, and obtained a large number of cheating tools for gambling on the spot. After examination, the suspects Yan, Ying and Wang confessed to their illegal and criminal acts of teaching thousands of gambling skills. At the same time, the three confessed that the "technique" of their communication was to cooperate with the use of thousands of tools, and their income mainly came from the sale of thousands of tools, such as special poker and dice. In addition, the suspect also confessed that his gambling cheating tools were purchased from Guangdong and sold to "trainees" online after the price increase. At present, three suspects have been criminally detained by Fengtai Branch on suspicion of imparting criminal methods, and the case is under further work.
Recently, the Beijing police will organize special forces to further intensify the special crackdown on illegal and criminal acts that teach mahjong, poker and other gambling tricks to purify the social security environment.
